Chad Reed 2008 Supercross Season in Australia

Chad Reed is going to play a large part in the 2008 Australia supercross season as a competitor and in partnership Mike Porra the Promoter of the Crusty Demons live tours worldwide. Motorcycling australia granted the the partnership a 10 year licence to conduct the Australian Supercross series.

The partnership is promising big things including new race formats, entertainment, larger venues and tracks and television coverage. The series will take place in October and November 2008 over 7 races and will add an additional 3 rounds to the series by 2010.

18th October 2008 Adelaide
25th October 2008 Melbourne
8th November 2008 Sydney
15th November 2008 Wollongong
22nd November 2008 Townsville
29th November 2008 Brisbane

Chad recently organised a publicity event in Sydney and bought in 40 trucks delivered 1000 tonnes of dirt to the top of the Overseas Passenger Terminal so that the jump could be built with a view across Circular Quay to the Opera House for the event. Expect to see more publicity throughout the year. Hopefully, as well as the existing talent pool of Australian riders, some well known international riders will be attracted to the supercross series down under in oz.

    I live in WA and am wanting to come over and watch the supercross event on 15th november in woolongong. How do i go about geting tickets to that? are they on sale yet?

    supercross tickets went on sale about 1 & a half months ago. i bough my tickets of tickitek on the internet. if you live in townsville i am pretty sure you can go to the dairy farmers ticket box and buy them.
