Stanmore Motocross Club to re-open
Funds which were intended to be used to develop the Stapylton motocross facility will now be used to make improvements to the existing motocross track Stanmore. The improvements will be primarily noise protection measures. Stanmore MX should be able to re-open until construction isready to start although no dates have been given at this time.

Redland City Council will consider council-owned and private land in its search to identify a potential site to build a motocross track in the Redland shire with officers expected to report on their progress by the end of the year.

Redland City Council is investigating the possibility of providing a site for the development of a new motorcycle facility. Initially catering for Motocross riding. A lot of tracks and venues have been closed or are threatened with closure. Regardless of your own location, a motocross facility in Redlands will enhance the sport and provide a safe alternative for riders of all ages.
