2008 Motocross of nations teams announced
Monster energy Kawasaki riders James Stewart, Ryan Villipoto and Tim Ferry. James remains unchallenged and is leading the competition in the AMA motocross series. Ryan Villipoto, who is currently at the top of the points table in the AMA motocross lites series. Tim Ferry has had consistent results so far this season and is holding second place in the Motocross championship.
SuperX race formats
The Australian supercross series known as SuperX will bring new race formats to supercross which have never been tried before. SuperX promises to deliver supercross racing on a level never seen before down under, which full size tracks, live television broadcasts on fox sports and highlights on free to air TV.

Redlands Motocycle Club seeks land for a new Motocross track
Redland City Council will consider council-owned and private land in its search to identify a potential site to build a motocross track in the Redland shire with officers expected to report on their progress by the end of the year.

Renner rode up an 18-foot quarterpipe and made a sweeping, 180-degree arc that brought him down onto a landing ramp measuring 25 feet high and 64 feet wide.
Reed throws the first pitch for the 2009 AMA supercross season
“Angel Stadium is a special place for me, it’s where I won my first supercross race, so I am really looking forward to this,” said Reed. “I have never been to a baseball game before. Baseball is not very popular in Australia, we play cricket. I’m hoping I can make the throw all of the way to the catcher without throwing out my shoulder!”
AMA Racing Suspends Motocross Rider Jason Lawrence
“Mr. Lawrence is suspended indefinitely,” said AMA Director of Motocross/Supercross/ATV Ryan Holliday. “In addition, the $25,000 fine that was issued after the June incident and suspended contingent upon the successful completion of a one-year probation will now be imposed.”
