Villipoto fastest in practice at High Point

Ryan Villipoto has qualified as the fastest rider at the High Point motocross circuit with a best lap time of 2:43.253. Villipoto on his Kawasaki KX250F was half a second faster than Ryan Sipes on a KTM 250SXF who qualified with a time of 2:43.960 and a full second faster than Ryan Dungey 2:44.369 on his Suzuki RM-Z250 with Bret Metcalfe behind him by a whisker with a time of 2:44.370

Professional motocross riders Lawrence and Hill fined by the AMA for reckless behaviour

Lawrence and Hill’s off-track activities were seen as “unacceptable behavior detrimental to the sport” at round 3 of the AMA motocross championship at Freestone county raceway on the June 6-7 weekend.

Glen Helen motocross AMA post race report

In moto 1 of the premiere class Mike Alessi got the holeshot but James Stewart took the lead soon after. Both riders pulled away quickly from the rest of the pack, Ferry, Townley, Tedesco and Milsaps.
Milsaps soon started moving through the pack into fourth early in the moto.
